On the big screen, the actress has brought a fascination with fans thanks to her performance as Elsa in Disney frozen. But long before she became a huge star and a Tony Award winner, Edina worried that her singing talent would be too much for some.
“When I was a little girl, I got used to the idea that I had something special and a gift to share, but I was afraid to share that in my life,” Idina shared exclusively with E! News. “Are you going to call for scrutiny? Do people think I was just trying to take up too much space or trying to show off? I’m still dealing with it today.”

In the lyrical picture book, a little mouse finds her big voice with the help of her supportive sister. While it is a children’s book, Edina notes that it is a story meant to inspire people of all ages.
