Noel Lambert is one to watch 43- Al-Qahtani. The 25-year-old American Paralympic athlete is one of 18 contenders in the race to win the Sole Survivor title and the $1 million grand prize. Noel is a member of the Fizzy clan, who won the first two challenges in the first episode. The New Hampshire native is one of the sportiest runners this season and has a fantastic opportunity to get ahead along the way.
So, who is Noelle Lambert? Here are five things you need to know about 43- Al-Qahtani forsaken.
Noelle is the third amputee to play the role of “Survivor”.
Noel follows Chad Crittenden And the Kelly Bruno As the third amputee to compete for it survivor. Chad appeared in the ninth season, survivor: VanuatuHe was the eleventh person to vote and the second member of the jury. Kelly appeared in season 21, Survivor: NicaraguaShe was the sixth person to vote and fail to make the jury.
She played lacrosse in high school and college.
Noelle was an All-Star lacrosse player at Londonderry High School in Londonderry, New Hampshire. She continued playing sports in college at UMass Lowell in Massachusetts. She had to make it through the second year after losing a leg, but she’s back in the team as a dominant force
She lost her leg in a motorcycle accident.
Noel was riding a motorcycle on Martha’s Vineyard in 2016 when the accident occurred. She lost control of the car and passed a truck coming from the side. She was taken to the hospital and doctors decided to amputate one of her legs above the knee to save her life.
“I had 30 or 40 visitors a day and didn’t have time to feel sorry for myself,” she said. Concord Monitor in 2021. “I didn’t want to let the accident define my life and the rest of my life. I had difficult moments, but I never wanted to show it, and this is my stubborn self.” After the accident, Noelle started the Born to Run Foundation, which provides specialized prosthetics to young people and children.
She participated in the Summer Paralympics in Tokyo.
As a track and field athlete, Noel finished first at the Paralympic trials in Minnesota, and secured her spot at the Tokyo Summer Paralympics in 2021. She finished sixth in the 100-meter sprint with a time of 15.97 seconds. Noel broke the American record in the 100-meter sprint at the Athletics Championships in Dubai.
Her favorite “Survivor” player is Kelley Wentworth.
Noel is a big fan 3 times survivor player Kelly Wentworth. In her pre-match interviews, Noel said she wanted to play the game like Kelly did in season 31, finishing fourth after finding two hidden immunity idols and being the ultimate underdog. We’ll see if Noel can make it happen 43- Al-Qahtani!
