After it was reported that the couple – who appeared on Real Housewives of the Potomac For four seasons – they broke up after 10 years of marriage, the couple denied the existence of any truth to the rumors.
“Did Chris and I get divorced? No, we didn’t get divorced,” Monique, while seated next to Chris, said in a YouTube video on October 17. “Do Chris and I go our separate ways? Absolutely not.”
However, as Monique explained, amid the duo preparing for the second season of their current show on OWN, Love and Marriage: DCThey went through a “process” that involved spending time alone at each other’s home.
“The process we were going through in order to fix our marriage [was] Working on our personal issues, “Monique – Mother to the Children Christopher9, Melanieand 7 and Chasing, 3, with Chris – joint. “We wanted to take a step back and focus on ourselves. If I’m not good, I’m not good for him or my kids. If he’s not good, he’s not good for himself, me, or the kids.”
