School Fun Festival

Lucy’s School is hosting a Food and Fun Festival from October 21-23, featuring rides, games, food, sweets, and live music.

The festival continues Friday, October 21, 4:30-10:30 p.m.; Saturday October 22, 10:30 AM – 10:30 PM; And Sunday, October 23, noon – 6 p.m., at the school, 76 Kennedy Street.

Submission is free. Unlimited ride bracelets and food tickets can be purchased at https://www.stlucyschool.org/funfest.

Halloween Howl Costume Contest

Cloud City Supply celebrates Halloween with an in-person and online pet costume contest.

Pet owners can dress in costumes October 28, 6-8 p.m., and come to the store at 325 E Campbell Ave. With their furry friends to snap their looks at the photo booth and enjoy free snacks for adults and pets, plus seasonal music from DJ Chip DeVille. Group-themed costumes are encouraged. Each guest will receive a raffle ticket, with a prize draw after the winners of the costume contest are announced.

Judging for the Pet Fashion Contest will be from 6-7pm with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes. Pet owners can enter the competition online by posting a photo on Instagram to cloudcitysupplyinc, sending a photo to 408-777-6783, or emailing a screenshot to hello@cloudcitysupplyinc.com. Online applications were accepted from October 22-27.

The Gap Gala Bridge

Hunger at the Ninth Annual Bridge The Gap Gala is scheduled for October 22, 5:30 p.m., at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center.

The event includes food prepared by Silicon Valley chefs at 12 tasting stations. artisan wines and handcrafted cocktails; dance music by All Star Jukebox; Live and silent auctions.

Funds were raised through Ceremony to Support Home Hunger Food Distribution Programs.
