On Saturday, Britney Spears posted on Instagram this drawing that read, “I’m not perfect.”
In the caption, she talks about how much harm her family has done to her by imposing an “abusive” guardianship for 13 years.
Britney wrote: “I can understand that my posts complaining about my past may seem consistent! I must have found it very difficult to let it all pass.” “But for me, the real problem for me is that my family, to this day, honestly have absolutely no conscience and really believe in their mind that they have done absolutely nothing wrong.”
“They can at least take responsibility for their actions and acknowledge the fact that they hurt me,” she continued. “For me, just a genuine apology would help me wrap up, but it honestly blows my mind every single day of my life even after what they’ve done to me, and they still act like this was all right.”
“Their reaction shows that I don’t have a family that values me or respects me – at all! That’s the hard part for me. And as much as I loved them, it’s something I probably wouldn’t ever be able to get over.”
“When I post in those moments, I just want to speak from my heart, because it’s so hard for me. Then I look back and see how many people are saying, ‘Get over it.’ I’m working on getting stronger.”
For those of you who don’t know, Britney has stated that her father was basically the main executor of guardianship, her sister empowered her, and it was her mother who actually gave her father the idea to activate it.
Well, her mom Lynn must have seen this last post calling for an apology – because she legitimately commented on it.
Lynn commented, “I’m so sorry for your pain.” “I’ve been sorry for years.”
She continued, “I love you so much and miss you! Please set me free, so that I can speak to you in person.” “Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you!”
“I apologize for anything and everything that hurt you!”
Britney did not respond to Lynn’s comment but we’ll update you if she does.
