About the first episode – Dr. Roja

This is the introductory episode, introducing Dr. Ruja Ignatova and the world of OneCoin. We feel the scale of deception, hear from people who have fallen in love with it and the voices of true believers. It begins with the story of Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto, goes to a OneCoin seminar in Mbarara, a town in western Uganda, and ends with the disappearance of Dr. Roja in October 2017.

In the first episode of “The Missing Cryptoqueen” we can also see what a charismatic leader can do with the story of Bitcoin. If Dr. Roja Ignatova didn’t steal it, she was at least deeply inspired by the mystery and rhetoric of Satoshi Nakamoto. Using quotes from her speeches, we hear Dr. Roja talk about a corrupt financial system and corrupt banking institutions. On the possibility of banking for the unbanked and what it can do for the world. About the story of Bitcoin Pizza Day and how it might happen to OneCoin owners.

However, Dr. Ruja’s OneCoin was better than Bitcoin. He was here to replace him, actually.

Whenever you hear it, run. This should have been the witnesses’ first warning. In the first episode we hear about OneLife Network. The social part of the scam. We hear from a UK victim who helped in the webinars, from a OneLife employee and insider, and we hear an African song about OneCoin. There is emotion in all of their voices. An open wound.

Near the end, we hear about 2017 and the disappearance of Dr. Roja from the people who were there at the scene. what happened? So far, there are nine more episodes of The Missing Cryptoqueen on the BBC. Let’s hope to get an answer to this question.
