US stocks were on track for a modest recovery, after turmoil in UK government bond markets helped drag the Nasdaq Composite into a bear market.
S&P 500 futures rose 0.3% on Wednesday, while contracts on the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.7%. Tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.3%.
