Tulsi Gabbard is officially leaving the Democratic Party.
Gabbard said that she “can no longer stay in the Democratic Party today” and that the Democratic Party is “now under the complete control of an elite cabal of warmongers”.
Gabbard sought the Democratic nomination for president in 2020 and retired from the House of Representatives in 2021.
She did not announce that she joined the Republican Party.

Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard announced her withdrawal from the Democratic Party on Tuesday, calling the organization an “elitist gang.”
